The main function of the Responder is to act as an interface between
peripheral monitor devices such as alarms, early warning systems, etc. as well as various types of radio equipment.
The Responder is intelligent and has unmatched features to ensure the
delivery of messages. Up to four addresses per input change can be programmed
and each address can be programmed for different retry transmissions. If the
message was not delivered the first time it will retry again according to the
programmed retry condition. In failing the transmission, the input condition
will be transmitted to the second address, and so on.
Enhanced Security is another
feature of the Responder, allowing
only validated users to activate
any programmed output. If the
address is not validated, the
Responder will display the data
message including the sender,
but it will not activate any
output.
